Job title: Senior UX Designer (MANTU Group – internal focus)
Job description
Mantu is an international group with our own internal ERP system that helps our organization run day-to day activities smoothly. As a Senior UX Designer at Mantu, you will have to ensure that the applications under your scope provide the best value to our users and our business. You will be part of the UX Department and collaborate closely with our Product Owners to build and improve our ERP applications.
Your responsibilities would include (but are not limited to):
-Research, understand, design and prototype new experiences for our employees and collaborators
-Work closely with our Product Owners and Engineers in trying to make sense of the different problems faced by different groups of users
-Produce realistic proposals on how to improve our IT product
-Acquire a good understanding of how the applications under your scope work and how the relevant departments are impacted
-Contribute to the general strategy of applications under your scope
-Contribute to the maintenance, adoption, and growth of our internal Design Style Guide
This description takes into account the major responsibilities and is not restrictive. Afterall, you are an integral part in the UX department, together with other UX designers in improving the value provided by the department.
Our ideal candidate
-Degree in Art/Design, Computer Science from an accredited college or university; or equivalent education/experience in the design, computer science and other relevant fields preferred
-2-3 years of experience in UX Design, Product Design, UX Research or relevant experience building digital products
-Ability to clearly communicate and defend design decisions, ideas, and proposals to different teams and clients
-Experience with wireframing and prototyping software (Adobe XD, Axure RP, Figma, Sketch, Proto.io, Invision, UXPin or similar ones)
-Good understanding of design and tech lingo
-Ability to distill complex problems into simple solutions
-Fluency in English, another foreign language such as French would be a plus.
